Report on U13 Festival

The under 13s visited Wymondham on Sunday for the second Norfolk leg which saw us playing Beccles, Wymondham, Crusaders and Yarmouth and Lowestoft in 15 minute straight through games and kindly the rain held off.

We were victorious in all 4 games:
Beccles 4 tries to 1
Wymondham 3 tries to 1
Crusaders 1 trie to 0
Lowestoft and Yarmouth 7 tries to 1
Our tries came from Ben, Joel, Cameron, Tyrnan and Kenzo. These tries were made possible because of amazing team work, assists and full support.

Lewis took one to the rib in a monster tackle stopping Wymondham pulling the game back to 2-2 right on the try line which ended with a suspected broken rib which goes to prove that not all heroes wear capes.
Whilst our Charlie took a blow to the nose causing a bleed, he was quick to wipe it and get back on.
Louis also took a big knock to his knee but fortunately managed to run it off.

Our man of the match was awarded to Cameron. Cameron is one of our newest members and has settled in amazingly and is now a huge part of our squad. Cameron pulled off a try and an amazing assist to Joel. Also L + Y brought a new 6ft guy to the arsenal who in one tackle, Cameron made light work of.

I must add that all of the lads played their socks off and all deserved Man of the match.
Our quote of the day came from 4ft Louis while looking up to a towering 6ft Ben "Ben you're different" "But a good different" to which every body erupted into laughter.

These lads are a cracking bunch and are becoming a force to be reckoned with. They always give 100% determination, commitment and discipline and always perform TREDS on and off the pitch. They should all be super proud of themselves.
