Membership Join Lion Rugby Club

MEMBERSHIP OF NORWICH RUGBY CLUB

The club welcomes new members in a number of different categories. There are opportunities for the whole family to become involved on and off the field. Family Membership of two adults and two children costs only £100 and represents great value as the children can play as either youth members or mini rugby members. The children have free admission to first team matches and their parents get a reduced price entry. Membership of our Mini Section is for boys and girls under 13 years of age and is available at £40 for the season including all match and coaching fees. The Youth Section has a very strong membership and many of our First XV players have emerged from this well run area of the club and with membership costing just £60 including match and coaching fees, this is a great entry route to senior rugby at the club.

Senior Playing Membership is available to anyone, no matter what their playing ability, and with the full training, coaching and playing facilities all included costs £120 per season. There are no match fees to pay and playing shirts are provided and laundered by the club. Training sessions with our experienced coaching staff take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and all new members are very welcome to attend. The First XV play in the Powergen London League Division One and the Second Team play in the very competitive Second XV League which was started this season. The Third Team play in the Norfolk Merit Table and when not in league competition they look for friendly local fixtures.

If you are not a player or if you have hung up your boots, there is still a lot on offer for you at the club. Joining as a Non-Playing Member costs just £40 and includes a reduced price entry to First Team games and the full use of the clubhouse bar and lounge facilities. Anyone can apply to join as a Vice President for £80 which includes free admission to First Team matches and inclusion of your name in the club handbook. The Vice Presidents enjoy many opportunities for socialising in the club and many choose to attend the pre match luncheons and the post match celebrations!
