ROGER 'SOOTY CORBETT -RIP
It was with great sadness that we learned from Mark O'Leary that Roger 'Sooty' Corbett died early last week.
Sooty played for the 'A' & 'Extra A' teams at Norwich during the 80's and 90's. He was a former Navy man, being involved in the Field Gun competitions on Royal Tournament days. He joined the police and was in the Essex Serious Crime Squad before transferring to Norfolk where he worked on the beat, armed duties and some CID work.
A man of great strength but with a gentle disposition, he was Godfather to Mark's daughter. Roger and Jan never had children. We send the club's most sincere condolences to Jan and all Roger's friends on their loss.
Steve Henson would like to draw your attention to the fact that there are now 16 tickets left for the England v Wales game on 28th February but only 4 left for England v Ireland on 12th March.
